FISH TALES

Let me tell you about the one that got away!

 

     Every weekend my girlfriend and I go fishing weather permitting. Last weekend things got off on the wrong foot. While launching the boat off the trailer at the Boat Ramp the retriever line caught under the trailer wheel and broke.

 

There went our boat drifting out on the lake with no one in it. A young man watching the incident volunteered to swim out and retrieve the boat for a price, which I gladly paid.
That is not a problem because everyone knows fishing is expensive, but you usually do not have to pay for the one that got away.

It is obvious we do not have the knack for fishing so I am appealing to you for pointers, your experience in fishing or just a good fish story.
